1:1 Chromebook District
Cedar Cliff is implementing a 1:1 program where students are given a mobile device to use during school hours (Grades K-12) and after school hours (Grades 8-12). It's important to note that these devices are owned by Cedar Cliff Local Schools and should be treated as a valuable educational tool, much like a course textbook.
The mobile devices provided to students grant access to various educational resources such as Google apps for Education, online textbooks, and district-provided web-based materials. Students will be required to regularly use these devices in their classes to complete homework and school projects. It's important to remember that these devices are meant for educational purposes and should not be used for gaming, social networking, or high-end computing.

All internet traffic in the district is carefully filtered in accordance with the guidelines set by the Children's Internet Protection Act (CIPA). Furthermore, Cedar Cliff has implemented additional safety and wellness measures through Securly to protect students from potentially harmful online activities. Student Data Privacy Protecting student data privacy is crucial for safeguarding the information collected by schools and educational technology pertaining to your child. This includes academic performance, attendance records, and internet browsing activity on school devices.
