Act of Compassion:
Our focus for the month of February is compassion. Cedarville Elementary will be collecting money
for the Cedarville Senior Citizen Center during the week of February 27th-March 3rd. A flier will be sent home
with students.
Parents! Please help us keep the Lost & Found clean! Please put your child's initials or your child's name on their lunchboxes, coats, hats, water bottles, etc.
RECESS: Since the weather is turning colder, please make sure your child has a jacket or coat along with a hat & gloves. The students go out for recess when the temperature is above 20 degrees.
After school tutoring is available on Tuesday & Thursday in the library. If you would
like your child to attend tutoring, please send in a note giving them permission to stay after school.
Tutoring is from 3pm-4pm. Pick up is at the High School Doors. Tutoring is also available on Wednesday
at the Cedarville Library.
The last day for after school tutoring will be May 4, 2023
The resourceful quote for the week is: You’re in charge of your mind. You can help it grow by using it in the right way
The thought for the week is: You can give someone a great gift just by listening to them.
Savannah and Viola have a birthday today. Please come to the office and pick up your pencil and have a Happy Birthday.
Now for a humorous pause: Why doesn’t the corn like the farmer? Because he picks his ears.
Thanks and have a humble day!
We had eight kindergartners gather together at our first gathering! We're looking forward to getting everyone together again soon.
Our next gathering is scheduled for this Thursday, July 22 at 6:30PM. However, I recently found out (via Facebook) that this Thursday, July 22 from 4PM-10PM is Cedarville night at Young's. For anyone new to the area, Cedarville Night is for the entire Cedarville Community and is a great chance to interact with your neighbors and community members. I've included the information for the community night below.
Due to the community night, I propose that we reschedule this Thursday's gathering at the Community Park for next Thursday, July 29 at 6:30PM at the Cedarville Community Park. As before, none of these gatherings are a requirement and they are not sponsored by Cedar Cliff Schools.
I know my family will plan to be at Young's and if you plan to be there too, please feel free to reply all to this email letting everyone know and what time you think you'll be there. My idea is that perhaps we can meet up at the kiddie corral at a mutual timeframe to say hello. I apologize for changing our plans, but when I scheduled our gathering dates, I was not aware of the Community Night.
Please let me know if you have any questions and I hope to see everyone at Young's or when we gather again on Thursday, July 29 at 6:30PM.
