Kindergarten Registration Information for Cedar Cliff Local Schools
Cedarville Elementary will be hosting a Kindergarten Informational Meeting on April 29, 2021 at 6:30pm. The meeting will be located in the school cafeteria.
Children must be five years old by August 1st to enroll in Kindergarten. All children six years of age must be enrolled in school or registered with the Greene County Educational Service Center in an approved home education program.
Parents will use an online system to register their child, and must also provide the following information prior to August 6, 2021:
*official proof of birth (vital statistics birth certificates - obtained through the county office where the child was born, Passport or Registered Baptismal record – hospital birth memento will not be accepted.)-must bring original birth certificate-to have a copy made at the school.
Copies can be made of these documents for the student’s file.
Students will not be enrolled for Kindergarten in August if we have not received these documents in the office prior to August 6.
Details will be given regarding appointments for the Kindergarten screening process and a complete description of the screening process will be provided as well. These fun screening activities will help staff assess the child’s readiness for Kindergarten and provide valuable insight that can assist with the decision to enroll at this time. All Kindergarteners must also receive the hearing and vision screenings provided at the district’s screening event, or must provide the information from their family doctor.
All students must register for Kindergarten, even if they have been enrolled in the preschool program.
For more information, please contact the Elementary office at (937)766-3811.

The word for the month is Perseverance: Never giving up, even when things get hard.
The thought for the week is Perseverance is about doing your best, even when you don’t feel like it!
There are no birthdays today but Wesson has a birthday over the weekend. Please come to the office for your pencil and have a Happy Birthday.
And now for a humorous pause: What kind of market does a dog hate? A flea market.
Thanks and have a persistent day.
